Title: 156 JTS Mag wheel info
Post by: V AR 164 on May 13, 2015, 12:23:58 AM
Hey guys,

I am looking to purchase wheels for my 164. I have come across these 156 wheels. Can anyone give me dimensions for them? Wondering if they will fit 😏

Thanks, Andrew.

Err... Dimensions are in your pics?

PCD is obviously 5x98.
Rims are 17" diameter, 7"wide

Offset (ET) is 40.5mm. The offset is the bit you need to check, what does the 164 need (it will be similarly stamped inside your original rims). You may need spacers.

That said, it's been done

Thanks, Craig.

The wheels will fit.

A rough photoshopped image attached, opinions?

Thanks, Andrew.

Will look fantastic if you also can drop her a bit lower. The 164 is sure a beautiful thing.

Remember, when you lower a car, you will also change the wheel alignment, so when you lower it, factor into the cost a camber kit, to correct the excessive negative camber and a wheel alignment to correct the toe in-toe out specifications, Colin.

Yeah, I have come to the conclusion that it is more hassle than what it is worth. Maybe in the future if I'm really keen.

Thanks anyway, Andrew.
