Title: electronic key control
Post by: BazzaGTV on August 30, 2015, 06:52:49 PM
Hi can someone please confirm if the electronic key control c.c.e is the yellow box under the steering wheel on a alfa gtv 2.0 16v tspark 2001 model. I see in some manuals that it is also called a alfa romeo code unit and immobiliser. please confirm!

Hi Bazza,

The yellow box is the immobiliser it controls the code light on your dash and talks to your ECU to allow the car to start. If you're talking about the central location locking it's a different ECU.

Cheers
