Title: Thermatic Fan - 199 Spider Twin Spaek
Post by: The Count on September 10, 2015, 10:54:38 AM
Hi all..

May soon need to replace thermo fan in my 1999 Spider Twin Spark. Is there an after-market supplier of these or can one of the stock Davies-Craig units be fitted?

Any advice appreciated

What is the matter with your current fan?, if it is not working, then why not fit a good second hand one that will bolt straight in.
If you go with a Davies Craig, then you will have to stuff around fitting it and drilling holes.
The GTV fan may be the same as a 156 or 147, so there would be a few around.
Make sure your thermo switch and wiring is working.
Try a wrecker for stock of a second hand fan, give Monza Motors a call in Melbourne, Colin.

Thanks.. Checking current fan today so will know soon if it's thermostat, wiring or the fan itself.
