Hi All,
My Tbi have 270hp and 400nm.
Do you have a recommendation (link to buy)for a improved valve springs? I have been advised by my mechanic to replace those I have with stronger ones
Thanks in advanced for your help.

First of all, WHO is your Mechanic? Is he an Alfa Specialist, and WHY does he recommend new valve springs?

Hi,
Yes he is a AR specialist, and a lot of AR are been treated in his garage.
Well the pressure under 270hp is different and he claim that valve springs need to be stronger at this case.

Must be some AR mechanic! How did he get that out of a TBi?
That's 200kw to the metric impaired.

That's a bit of squeezing that we did on the dyno

That's well beyond software /induction / exhaust. So you are running a bigger turbocharger??
So how can I get 200kW out of my naturally aspirated 2.5L V6? (Without turbo/super charging)
$$$$$
Booooo! I've already spent far too much just keeping the buggers mobile...

Stage 2 from revlimit http://www.revlimit.gr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=583:alfa-romeo-159-1-75tbi-200hp-stage-1-2&catid=448&lang=el&Itemid=150
I have added the colombo and bariani camshafts as well with intercooler , pipe system and etc
I have been offered to change the current turbo to a precision turbo model and to map the ecu again, but I'm afraid for the M32 gearbox issues and clutch...

That was going to be my next query. The M32 is rated for 320Nm as you know and it's already the weakest point in the drivetrain (not that torque is the problem there).
So the cam manufacturer can't refer you to a source of valve springs?
You've probably hit the limit for what I am always conscious remains a quite small 1.75 litre engine without replacing the equally small turbocharger. And then the gearbox problem raises its head again.
I love my TBi power but I just wish they'd made it a 2.0 litre like the Guilia.

Holy Chit, that's a huge power gain just on software upgrading and an exhaust! How about some pictures on the upgrades Falconzappa?
How do you find the CB camshafts? I've come across them in my researching for upgrades, no real reviews from end users. Haven't check yet, but surely there'd be some Busso V6 springs that would be close to specs for the 1750? 147 GTAs get a lot of perfprmance mods, surely there's something there. Don't forget, although the 4C engine has its differences, there may be interchangable parts such as uprated valve springs. A quick search showed up plenty on the 4C http://live.alfaworkshop.co.uk/synergy/4C.php#firstPage (http://live.alfaworkshop.co.uk/synergy/4C.php#firstPage)
