We are starting off the 2018 motor sport year with a couple of parade laps around the Broadford track for all members!
There will be 2 sessions, one before and one after lunch. This will be done under yellow flags and behind a safety car. For all you wanna be drivers, head on up and then START YOUR ENGINES!

In addition to the not to be missed two sessions of parade laps before and after lunch, I'll be providing volunteer liaison duties over the day.
Running a sprint meeting requires volunteers to help out in a number of areas. These include:
Entrant / Driver Check In
Scruitineering
Transponder coordination - distribution / management / post event collection of transponders
Radio Communications coordination - distribution / management / collection of two-way radios
Catering - food and water for event staff / flaggies / officials etc
Public Address announcements
Assistance to Clerks of Course
Dummy Grid / Out Grid management
Event equipment maintenance and transport
Possible future CAMS accredited official
We plan to offer future volunteers exposure to the above areas during the days activities.
Broadford is only 45 minutes up the Hume. This will be a great opportunity to see how a typical AROCA Sprint Event is run from a volunteers / officials perspective. 8 - 12 relatively spirited Parade Laps under the yellow flag - no overtaking - is a bonus not to be missed.
Come on up and join the gang of regular event attendees. As we will be running around 10 events for the year, we'll need a pool of volunteers. The more the merrier. Please PM me with your details and intention to join me on the day. I need numbers to help coordination.
A great way to spend time with other Alfisti. Sure beats domestic duties any day!

Looking forward to see if the just installed DS2500's fade less than the EBC Red's. Also looking forward to see PAB back in the Giulietta for the two Parade Lap sessions.
