Title: W. T. B. Manual steering rack for 75 twinspark
Post by: rob1spi on August 19, 2009, 02:31:08 PM
Hi All,

I would like to buy a manual steering rack for a 75 twinspark. Does anyone know which is compatable Guilietta or Alfetta. Did any 75's come with manual racks?

regards

Rob

Rob,

If you really want manual steering in a twinnie, just ditch the power steering pump and have a steering specialist rebuild the rack and convert it to manual. I had one done on a car I sold earlier this year and it worked a treat. I did it for racing though, mostly for weight reduction. If it is a road car you are better off rebuilding the power steering set up.

Cheers,

Brent

Hi Brent, Thanks for that. It's for a race car. Will check it out.
Cheers.
Rob.
