Title: Changing 156 manual gear shift linkage
Post by: bteoh on January 09, 2010, 07:11:12 PM
Hi,

I just noticed I have lost the linkage on my 156 GTA where the gear shift lever is sloppy. I suspect it might be a broken linkage cable. Has anyone done a change of the cable and how difficult might it be? Any tips on such a task?
Cheers, brian

Problem rectified.... the end of the cable going into the gearbox had worked itself loose from it's connector. Fortunately it was a simple job :)
