Title: Hello
Post by: GOLDGT on February 08, 2010, 10:18:45 AM
Just thought I would say hi to all the members as I have just joined. I live in South Gippsland and have owned 2 Alfa's before a 1986 Sprint and a 1992 33 16V. Just brought myself a 2004 147 GTA which I am looking forward to picking up on wednesday.

Cheers

Welcome to the Forum from the Queensland bunch and hope you enjoy the banter that lives here. Funny how you have offloaded a Sprint and I am trying to buy one. Never had anything to do with them before so I am curius how things will pan out when I finally score one.

Welcome to the forum. While you are waiting to pick up your 1437 GTA I hope you have already checked out the AROCA Phillip Island weekend on March 13/14. There will be an event for everyone regardless of model or driver's experience. Check out the alfaromeo2010 website for details and then join in the fun during March

The Sprint was a really fun car to rip around in MD, Handled great. Keep a good look out for rust on them though mine had a bit and that was 15 years ago. The 33 16V went and handled even better. I have been driving a 2000 GT Forester for the last 5 years that I have been improving or "Making safer" I like to tell my wife. Always liked the boxer engine.

If im not working Barry, I will try to pop over Phillip Island, Any excuss for a drive is good with me.

Hi John,

I am working away from the 15th of this month until the 5th of March so I will not be able to make the Noojee run. Great roads out that way for a drive though.

Cheers
