Given modern Alfa names/badges are not carried over to future models, I would not expect there to be another 'GT' as such. So :
"... According to Sergio Marchionne, the GT will go out of production after only 7 years and no successor is currently on the table..."
After 'only' 7 years is hardly a surprise. How long did the '156' last, etc?! The GT is of course long in the tooth now (though I love mine!), and arguably beyond its cycle date.
OK, the sentiment of the article is about not being a replacement for the GT; well, many have argued that having the GT alongside the Brera made little sense in terms of model diversity.
Pretty pointless article if you ask me! But thank you for posting, of course. :)

Sure 7 years is a long time for a model but you can only say that it lasted that long cause they look so good and unlike anything else on the road.
