I am missing the spring that sits inside the bore and pushes the piston out. Slave Cylinder is off a GTV6 (1983) – the type that is held in by 2 circlips.
Bore in the cylinder is good as, so I'm just after the spring. Ideally would be a slave that has a completely stuffed bore so I don't have to scavenge from a serviceable unit.
New seal kit put through the Slave Cylinder and there was no spring in there! Disassembled it straight into the degreasing dish and from there into a box so I'm pretty damn there wasn't one in there. Lord knows how long the thing has been working without it but if the original designers though it was necessary then I suppose I should have one.
