hi guys
my name is Tristan
im in Brisbane and i'm looking for a Alfa 33 (1.7L Boxer) to buy as a daily.. what i mean is i'll buy it as a daily then get emotionally attached to it and only drive it on weekends!
i currently have a Nissan Silvia
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/Lord_Cheese/Cars/5-Copy.jpg)
which is basically a track car, i use it for Drift and Timeattack
i do all the mechanical work myself so i have a large amount of mechanical advice to bring to this fourm, and lots to learn about alfa's in return :)
i also do IT as my occupation so can help out with anything computer related
hopefully you will see a post from me in the coming weeks showing my new alfa, when i find one :)
Hi Tristan,
Welcome to the forum!!! :)
Awesome Nissan Silvia you have there!
You will find there are quite a few 33 owners in the club, a 1.7L Boxer is a great choice, i hope you can get it soon!!
I just recently became an owner of a 33 myself, a 1989 1.7 IE :D ...... i am hoping to have it on the road in a few weeks..
Ciao
Miss Alfa Sprint
Hey Miss Alfa
thanks! the 33's are definitley where its at :) i've just posted in the WTB section so hopefully something comes up, i might have to make a trip to sydney to look at some
hopefully yours hasn't got much to go before its on the street, good luck with that :)
Hi there Tristan,
Good to see another future Alfista, once you drive an Alfa , no matter which one you get you will never go back :-)
I am the 900 series Register Captain for the Club, if you need any information regarding alfa 33's especially 33 Boxer 16V, please don't hesitate to ask. Further more there are other members and owners of Alfa 33's that will be able to give you plenty of good information.
Here is a couple of pics of my 16V "Tipo 907510" Autodelta chipped .
Good luck Tristan,
Martin Sifredi

Hi Tristan,
Just got back from O/S and noticed you ended up buying the 33 boxer. It looks great..... My series 2 is a terrific little car to zip around in so I imagine yours would be a great little handler and have that bit of extra oomph they need!.
Hope you have as much fun in it as I did with mine when I first got him!!! ;)
Cheers,
Al
