Title: 147 car cover
Post by: Steve S on December 09, 2010, 09:47:30 PM
Can anyone suggest a good car cover to suit a 147? I've bought a couple from Repco over the years for different cars and never been impressed. I'm looking for something waterproof for outdoors. Thanks

Costco (in Docklands) have a Medium one for under $50 which seems really sturdy and fits my 147 pretty good for a generic.

Package says it's waterproof, but I haven't tested it out.

I got an Autotechnica cover for my 164.  Works well for outside use and this was a felt lined - not all of them are.

Thanks guys, I looked at a lot and ended up buying the Autotechnica Storm Guard.

I purchased an Autotecnica 1/182 Stormguard for the 156 after the K-Mart $29.00 jobby wasn't up to the task. Repco had it on sale for $100.00 which I thought was pretty good value considering the quality and the internal soft lining.

My Alfetta Twin Spark has lived outside under an Autotechnica cover for the last 3 years,( just stating to fail in one spot on the roof now) other than that no complaints. Just have to be careful taking the cover off as also anything sticks to the inner felt lining.
