Title: Hill Hold unavailable
Post by: Joe Garra on November 23, 2011, 11:05:03 AM
Hi all, this warning now appears intermittently on our 159 2.2 Wagon. It doesn't seem to have any impact on driving or stopping. Some days it stays on for a while, other days it doesn't come on at all. It just seems to be happening more often. Is anyone else familiar with this problem?

One mention of it here:
http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-159-brera-and-946-spider/304113-urgent-advice-engine-mgmt-light-on.html

But that's combined with an engine warning light.

Bruno and Giancarlo have the Fiat Examiner, so can read if there is any warning code set.

Is the driver door switch not working properly ?, this can cause an error with Hill Hold control as it checks to see if you have got out of the car or not.
