I can buy a 147 TS Selespeed from an Alfa specialist garage, in which I have trust. The engine is reconditioned with a new actuator and accumulator.
The car is absolutely beautiful and my heart says to buy it.
However, reading all those problems associated with the Selespeed makes me nervous. It seems as if this system is guaranteed to fail.
Should I buy or not?
Thanks, Herman
Never driven one. If I did buy a selespeed, I would only purchase it from a alfa specialist due to any potential issues unless I new the car.
On what you have said I would buy it. Selespeed components do wear out but if prepaced with proper reconditioned or new parts, that's fine.
Remember that the selespeed needs resetting with a factory analyzer at service and the dealer network uniquely has access to system upgrades at service.
Just my humble opinion today.
Cheers
