Title: Roll cage compliance for road registered cars
Post by: Neil Choi on August 31, 2012, 07:14:06 PM
Vic Roads update to fitment of road cages to road registered cars.

Fitment to road registered cars should comply with Vic Roads regulations.  Attached is the note for guidance.

Let's see if I read this correctly... so now VicRoads are going to allow 6 point cages in registered cars, but require them to be signed off by a VASS signatory (engineer)?  It's better than the previous advice I'd seen - which was that they would not be allowed at all.

Glad to see they've explicitly said that it doesn't apply retrospectively...
