Quote from: GTV-074 on September 13, 2023, 04:19:52 PMTook a pic at the 2010 Auto Italia of this mob "Prostitch". Only thing is they are in Sydney, might be worth a call tho'....

Cheers,

Paul.

Unfortunately, Prostitch is too cool for school now and only do Porsche's.

They also don't return messages or phone calls.

Hi all,
I'm replacing the front springs on my 1972 1600 Junior with some from Alfaholics and find that the spring pans and spacers are so badly corroded that I can't tell whether the original spacers are the 7mm or 10mm versions.
Any advice on what they are likely to be? / should be?

940 Series (Giulietta, Mito and 4C) / Giulietta Brakes
Last post by alfaricho - October 13, 2024, 06:39:47 PM
Hello again. Another small problem with my "new" Giulietta 1.4 Turbo. It has only done 21,000km and the first owner was an elderly lady. The brakes are really "fierce", so you can just about put your foot gently on the pedal and it does start to slow down. However, if you put on any further pressure, it's like an "emergency stop" in the old driving test. This makes coming up to traffic lights very tricky, I don't want the following driver to ram into my boot. I did change the brake fluid, but this made no difference. Any help will gratefully received!

Buy/Swap/Sell [Announce ONLY] / Alfetta 1.8 sedan and 2.0 GTV ...

Hi gang,
I helped a mate rescue some useful bits from a 1.8 sedan before it went to the crusher (don't be sad, it was a rusty hulk). He also had some bits from a long gone GTV.
I have offered to move them for him, for $not-very-much, preferably as a job-lot, but would separate if that wasn't possible.
Trick is, we are in TAS, so some cunning planning would be required for pick-up.
Happy to provide more pics of specific parts.
Also, I would be pleased to be pointed in the direction of any wreckers known to buy job lots.
Pics on Alfabb site (link below).
Paul.
