I'm looking at selling my much loved step nose, just don't use her much these days, especially with my oldest son almost out growing me and refusing to get into the back seat, it was not a rotisserie restoration, it never needed to be, but everything has been done to bring her to a very high standard with some slight improvements.

A quick run down ( off memory, proberly missed out a bit) on my step nose.

It's a 1st July 1966 Giulia Sprint Gt Veloce 105:37 low wheel arch model (rarer and more desirable). Factory red with skai black interior Australian delivered RHD to Alec Mildren, Pymble NSW on the 11th July 1966.

My mate had it about 20 years ago and he bought it off the second owner (never dug out the history but I do have old rego papers showing ownership from at least 1979 to 1995 etc). He was a Irish gentlemen who had the car painted green.

A few years later my mate sold it, I did want it at the time but wasn't financially ready for it.

His mate bought it and stripped it down to restore it with his son, he got the seals replaced (there was no need but they damaged them to see if there was rust in the inner seals :/)and had it painted back to the original colour AR 501, there it sat as a shell in a garage for about 12 years. I purchased it as was in Sep 2011.

From there I did the following,

Got her Rubbed back and re painted complete car inc engine bay.

Full 105 2L conversion inc brakes, engine, gearbox, hydraulic clutch and LSD DIFF and alfaholics tail shaft mod.

Alfaholics road race kit B suspension inc all new poly bushes

Alfaholics s/s extractor and full s/s exhaust, solid carby mounts and pipercross filter, pulls hard, very torquey.

Alfaholics slotted and drilled rotors, restored and painted callipers, 2500 pads.

Alfaholics 15 x 7" gta rims with road race AO 008's

Alfaholics Nardi steering wheel, boss and gear nob.

New carpet from Elevizio Esposito Italy.

Various NOS items such as rear lenses, speedo, original hub caps etc.

New door cards front and rear, hood lining, kick panels, all interior restored to original, front and rear seats were actually quite good so did not touch these, only a good shampoo was needed.

Dash completely restored to original.

All s/s bumpers etc restored, professionally polished.

All electrically checked, all found to be in good condition, all electrical works inc interior lights, installed a stereo under dash, blue tooth etc etc, can be removed with no sign that it was there.

I have the original 1600cc engine fully rebuilt and gearbox that comes with the car plus original air filter casing etc to bring back to original, also have the original 15" x 4.5" rims ( need repainting ) and as mentioned, Nos hubcaps, paid $480 just for the hubcaps, very rare.

It drives very well and I had it dyno tuned for 95 Oct, very smooth through the rev range, only thing about the set up of suspension and tyres is that the steering is a bit heavy, which is good because that way my wife doesn't like driving it.

Money? Well Shannons insured it at $52500, with just photos, they said they may do more if I bring it in,

Looking for offers around $50,000
