Changing transmission (Auto) on 156 2.5

Hi there
I'm replacing the transmission on my 156 2.5 ( diff problems).
Has anyone done that before? I'm talking about DIY...
Are there any particular issues/things to look for with this car when replacing the transmission?
I have the procedure instructions - but want to get as many tips as possible before I start.
