Citroen DS, Citroen 2CV, because they are bizzare French cars,
British Motor Corporation Austin - Morris Mini, or 'baby' as it was originally called,
Twin Carb Alfasud, best Alfa Romeo ever, ARNA, worst Alfa Romeo ever,
Lightburn Zeta, 2nd worst Australian car ever, Leyland P76, 3rd worst Australian - British attempt at cracking the Kingswood Falcon market,
FB - EK Holden, so bad, its not funny, dogleg windscreen, brutal tailfins, eyebrow headlights, chrome threads on seats and chrome everywhere else.
As you can see, i have a fascination with bad cars, as they are much more interesting than good cars and Neils bland Camry, Colin.

Haha love that everyone's hating on the Camry! (So do I).

Yes Toyotas are not a very nice car, but I'll tell you something about the quality and reliability of them, my father works for a courier company, and he has got a 2007 Yaris with the tiny 1.3 litre engine. He has had it for the past 8 years and apart from the odd flat battery and the digital clock not working in the dashboard, it has never missed a beat driving Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day.
Oh, and also, it has... Wait for it.... 465,000 kms on the clock. Still drives like new!
Not bad!

For all their faults, I too have had a couple of Toyotas, and mechanically they were unmatched for reliability, even when completely neglected (I owned a Yaris for 5 years as a daily commuter and had it serviced twice). Boring as bats..t but bulletproof.

But the bloody Camry is my nemesis. There seems to be an evil one that always emerges from nowhere like the mysterious French man-o-war in Master and Commander, to slide into the lane in front of me and then do 20kph below the speed limit. My bonnet still wears the scars from a powder blue one that swerved to make sure it drove over a discarded bit of timber and then spat it out its rear wheels into my grille.

Yep, me and the missus had a 131 successor for a few years in the early 90s, a Regata 85-S. Was a classic Fix It Again Tony. All the oil would just disappear in ever diminishing cycles. God knows where - didn't smoke and never left stains in the driveway, but eventually we got fed up with the constant trips to the workshop. Still, we loved that car most of the time we had it. It had more character, style and even pep compared to the usual local dross you could buy at the time.

A great thread...

My favourite Alfa:

- the impossibly beautiful 33 Stradale

My favourite non-Alfa:

Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta

In 2001, there was RHD 250 SWB for sale in Sydney. Dark colour (perhaps a grey), I begged my rich Brother in-law to buy the car, it was circa $400k - $450k if I remember, as he was looking to buy a Ferrari. He opted to buy a brand new 360 Modena instead...doh!

Hmmm.. Ferrari 246 Dino and a 1970's Maserati Bora.

Not too interested in the current crop of cars.. they're a bit, um, user friendly.

Although I do love the C63 AMG! :)

Yeah - that's the one I want  ;D

Although I haven't driven one yet - I fear if I do, I'll want one even more and bankrupt myself in the process.

I'll stick with the GTA :)

I bought this from Melb approx 10 years ago for my son for motorkhanas which he used as often as poss.Hes now 21 and has no interest in it so i reclaimed it before it ended up on ebay.I have kept it registered all this time.
As far as i can gather it was built in 70/80s with a front mount radiator, massive air intake under bonnet, abarth bonnet vents, front spoiler, slightly flaired front guards ,steel flaired rear guards, widened 13" 124 steel rims, half cage, race seat, spare wheel mounts behind seats and a cranky 903cc balanced, ported and cam--i think sounds awesome.
Best thing about is the smile it puts on mine and others faces. Also have disc brake rear end soon to be installed as the brakes atm really dont do it justice.
If any one remembers this car i am interested in any info-apparently sat in a pedders shop near (?)Warrigal rd or that rough area.
