Hi all, looking for some advice and knowledge re. lowering the height of the car by around 3 to 4 centimetres. I have Koni yellows all around at the moment.
I had a similar job done on my first 76 gt back in the mid 80's and loved how it turned out but all other memories of method, cost and technical attributes are gone.
Any thoughts or recent experience ?

You can lower the front by rotating the torsion bars.  If you have a workshop manual all the numbers are in there.  It's been decades since I've done the task myself but from memory one full spline on one end (only) should result is about 1" ride height change.    For incremental adjustments you need to rotate both ends of the T bars.  One end has one more spline than the other (31 Vs 32?) so gives a vernier adjustment.

For the rear you'll need new springs.

Thanks Paul for the handy tech. info.
I do have a workshop manual but will still get the pros to look at it.
Getting the propeller shaft worked on next week. Will be fitting 3 new donuts and am going for the BMW ones which I've been told are an overall better item.
Time & money will tell I guess.
