Best tyre size for 14 x 6 momo Vegas on gtv?

What is the best size tyres to run on 14 x 6 momo Vegas on a 1980 gtv? The guards have had the lips folded up by the previous owner.

Many (Gp S) run 195/60/14, doesn't answer "best".

I've got 15 x 6 inch Simmons wheels on my GTV, so the sidewall profile is 55 (being 14s I imagine yours will need to be 60s or 65s) but the width is 205.

My car is lowered and my 205/55/R15s fit snugly under the guards, no rubbing and look nice and fat enough.
