SOLD TODAY THURSDAY 1/3 Alfetta GTV 2.0L, manufactured 12/77. Purchased new by my father who decided after 6months it was not for him so I bought it. Has 88K kilometres on it. Was used as a daily driver, then weekend car. Has not been registered since 2009.
I was going to do it up, but am no longer interested. Re-bored the Clutch Master cylinder, then managed to break the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder next to the gearbox when wanting to bleed the system a couple of months ago. That was when I decided my other interests take priority, and this needs a new home. It could be driven straightaway once the clutch slave cyclinder was fixed and bleed. Has always been garaged.
Condition is as follows:
Body - was only ever involved in one very slow speed accident where left front mudguard dented. That was fixed. Has only one small dint approx. size of 5 cent piece on right top front mudguard. Other than that perfectly straight. Rear hatch window has the typical start of rust in the corners.
Paint - Silver metallic. Completely faded and thin.
Bumpers - Original chrome ones.
Engine - runs fine. Only missing thing is cap on plastic overflow tank. No battery included.
Gearbox - synchro in 2nd is suspect as usual.
Rear hatch - gas strut needs to be regassed.
Wheels - They are all Alfa Romeo Campanatura 45 Mags which were optional extras at time of purchase.
Tires - Road tires are virtually unused, but were replaced years ago.
Inside - Back with red velour trim on front seats. No rips in vinyl but starting to fail in spots on the seams. Needs to be redone if you want perfect.
Dashboard - start of one small minor crack.
Suspension - Comes with new in the box Koni Shocks, that I have not installed. Existing ones ok, but at this mileage to keep the handling spot on they need replacement.
Keys - has all
Manuals - original purchase documentation and book. Aftermarket workshop manual.
I am located in Little River Victoria.
Do not know what value of this maybe. Looking for interest and offers.
