Tools for 156 timing belt

Hi all I'm new to Alfa with my daughters first car being a 156 2.0 jts.

Proud Dad here.

Is there anywhere that I can borrow any "special" tools like tensioning and cam lock blocks for the belt change job?

Probably not what you want to hear, but it is unlikely that folk will lend these kind of special tools. I have just done the timing belt on my 166, and in the next month or so I will be doing the 156 as well. On Ebay, for under $200, you can buy a kit that contains camblocks, a TDC gauge, tensioner and a few other things to make the job doable. When you own the gear you have it forever. To do a timing belt change is not overly difficult, but you must know what you are doing. I have logged my timing belt change on this site: richardtester.com/cars 
This will give you some idea of what is involved (although this is the V6 engine, not the Twin Spark)

You  will also require the torque settings for the various components.
There are plenty of part suppliers.
If you enjoy buying new tools eg a < 25Nm torque wrench. Working on the alfa will be a joy.
Have fun, dont rush it. An electronic manual will help.
