1980 Alfetta 4cl 2l Exhaust System

Dear Sir / Madam,

I reside in Melbourne, Australia. I seek your valued guidance.

I have a 1980 Alfetta GTV Coupe 4cl 2l. I believe the last of the SS bumper model.

I would like to purchase a complete SS exhaust system from the exhaust manifold to the rear tailpipe. My preference is to keep the sound as original as possible.

Where in Australia can I get one made one / or sourced? Alternatively, I welcome overseas sourced suggestions.

FYI - it appears the last posting about this topic was in 2018 (where the information may be outdated).

One option might be EB Spares in the UK.  I recently purchased an exhaust 'centre section' for my 75 from them, and it was well packaged and no issues.  I've also made many other purchases from them over years, and they are reliable.

Send an enquire/email to get an idea of shipping costs.  They gave me an option to pay GST via them, and I paid with card by sending my details; again, no issues.

I can't vouch for how it sounds though.  But any aftermarket performance system will be tuned for 'louder' and not be like the original.

I don't think there are any local off-the-shelf exhausts.  If you want one in Melbourne, I suspect you'd have to have something custom made.  Or you could source a set of headers from overseas and have the rest built locally.
