Spider 916 soft top issue (one I have never seen before)

Hi All,

I have the following issue on the rear roof rail (Hoop), it looks like something is out of place and trying to push itself through the roof, has anyone had this issue?

Hi 75TS,

Yes I had the same issue with my Spider if you are talking about the staples.

One of the inner cloths are stapled and I had the staple ends coming through the canvas making small holes.

I removed the loose staples and silicone the inner side of the canvas so it won't leak water.

Looking at the third picture you can see the staple legs.
