When was the latest manufacturing date for a 159?

I am looking to buy a new 159 and was told by the dealer that the latest manufacture was October 2008 (2009 compliance). He claims they manufacture in two batches for Aus in March and October with no more of the current model to come. Am I being over overly cynical or was the bloke actually telling it as it was?
