Pretty impressive. I could build an alfetta that wouldn't rust!

Such a thing will NEVER exist.

You should go for a respectable beer that isn't available in Melbourne like Cascade Lager! It does come in stackable tinnies too  :)

Crap quality, but fairly self explanatory.

That's got to be the most expensive wall in the house....

Evan Bottcher

It's priced in chunders per square metre.

Mat, that's brilliant ;D.

Is the new wall of beer going to be a permanent fixture?

Hey Mat we all want an update on this excellent engineering feat and whether or not you were able to source the precise construction materials.  Love Evan's new building measure, I reckon it will need some QA to enable it to be included in the Building Code of Practice though !!  ;D and to ensure it means Australian Standards requirements.

Heh, alright, bit more info.

Unfortunately no, i don't think it will be a very permanent fixture. Not sure the bloke's parents would be too impressed to find it when they get home. Will probably stand for another day or so before she is "carefully" demolished.

The next point i would like to raise, can one really put a price on the satisfaction such a creation brings? Isn't that why we all drive Alfas?

As for passing all standards and requirements, i guarantee there is absolutely nothing to worry about. The inspectors would be so appalled (or maybe impressed?) by the other "improvement" made to the house that an insignificant wall such as this one would be completely overlooked.
