A New Italian in the Backyard

Yes the time has come the walrus said.......



The 75 TS is nearly on the road (should be at end of month), the GTV6 is purring like a kitten again, and i am itching to get a motorbike.

Some research later and an early morning run to Warburton later the decision was made - i must have a Ducati 500 Pantah.

Looked at two, one was beatufiul but needed the forks removed and recoated, the other was ratty looking, but mechanically perfect, and $1000 cheaper.

I am currently in Perth, going to see AC/DC tonight, and the Ducati was delivered yesterday :-)

Here she is.

I expect in the future all these italians will gang up on me, and talk in their own lingo but hey I'll still love them anyway.

gee you are after punishment, not only is it italian but a ranga, ginger, redhead, fanta pants, red head ranger, red hair orangutang, carrot top, ginga, rednut, blood nut, ranga banga, ect ect  (i believe im qualified to talk on this as my other halfs a ranga and so are the 3 kids)

that is either Ranger Heaven or Ranger Hell. The Duke may not stay a ranger I am checking out colour schemes for it.

Gotta  love a bike when to respray it is around one square meter of paint area :-)

Sounds just like a Ducati should :-)

Even though it is a 500 this one has a conti twin system on it so it is a little louder :-)

I am in Brissie at the moment and Kerry was complaining that she could hear my son start it up from the lounge with the tv going :-) (bike in backyard, loungeroom at the front of the house with lots of noise from Bell Street traffic)

I get home tonight so get my first look and embrace of it as the owner :-)

I will check out the Mad Max bikes - pretty sure they were Kawasaki z1000's but I will check out the look.

I am leaning to an original pattern to make it more collectable - maye the ice blue attached.

Have decided on a Black/Yellow scheme (mad richmond supporter)  a bit like the yellow 748 Ducati in this pick.
