konis for my JTS 156 wagon

Hi guys, given that this topic has been sort of covered recently re shocks for 116 Alfetta GTVs, I was wondering if anyone has experience with and/or can advise on which Koni to go for to replace the standard shocks on a '03 JTS 156 sportwagon, (ie. reds, yellows or ??), model no and any idea on the best price, outlet to purchase from. 

Down here in Tassie, there is only one place which supplies them, and I have heard they are pretty pricy.  I have Koni yellows in both my 1750 GTV and Fiat 124 sport, and from memory they cost for the 4 shocks approx $550, but that was many many years ago.  I am assuming they have gone up in price to probably about double this, but can anyone confirm or advise on anything else suitable.  I havn't checked out that place in Germany where I think some guys were getting Bilsteins from, so that too might be an option.

Any advice would be appreciated.  Dave

At a recent club meeting, it was suggested that overall Koni yellows are the way to go if you want a simple 156 upgrade for Australian road conditions.

However it was also said that these are suitable for for smoother roads and if you live in a suburb with older rough & bumpy roads, Koni reds give you a more comfortable driving experience.

Like to know what others think as well.

I understand that the Bilstein B6 were also a suitable option, as they are comparable but obviously non adjustable.

Any opinions either way?

Thanks guys appreciate the advice.  I think I like the idea of the konis over the Bilsteins, though am aware that they are excellent.  What I really need to find out though is the possible cost and if anyone knows of the best price going for them from any suppliers. As to whether reds or yellows it probably matters less than with my 1750 GTV and 124 sport which I have yellows in both.  Dave
