The colour reproduction in the article wasn't great. Its actually burgundy.  The second best colour for a 105.
Not quite as fast as the red ones but not far behind.
Cheers,
Marco.

Picked up a copy this morning. Funny looking purpley-red coloured 105 featured. Shame it's a series two..

Er.. Nice article Marco! Beautiful pictures and the colour repro looked fine to me. Did you enjoy your pizza?  Alfa Romeo and the club have been getting some good write ups in ACC and Unique Cars the last few months hope that continues.. Wonder if they want to write up a nice sud?

Red is the best colour for a 105 ;)

Ooh now Brad, I am not so sure about that  ;D  You see as much as I too like red ones (and have a bright red AC Fiat 124 sport) and the colour certainly suits GTAs/GTA reps, I actually think Blu Hollandese and Bluette are also terrific colours for GTVs.  So much so that my Giulia Super will be painted in Blu Hollandese and I am really think that Bluette would superb on my 1750 GTV.

Now if you go over to the BB, there is a lot of discussion re colours and funnily enough a lot of stick over which is fastest, black or white ones.

Mind you I do know of a certain 105 GTV, which has was married to a GTV6 chassis and drive train (aka the wolf) and its owner (Tom Gold) who might like to disagree with all of us reckoning that Ninja bright Green in fact is the coolest  8) and possibly fastest colour.  Either way, there is a lot of negative comment made about re-sale red.   Dave

Looks like I need to get myself a copy

Red was the best colour for a 105 its now Dutch Blue  :)

Dutch Blue is the new Black  ;)

Dutch Blue ones blow more smoke and leak more oil than the red ones.........................
