Sorry to hear Joel.

Last time I checked Vin Sharp also has stock of the GTA wheels - just the 14" from memory, but check with him.

Thanks all. Will check with Vin.

Now that I'm considering my bodywork etc. Does anyone know the rules on lighting rear number plates in AUS, and also how people have managed this with no bumpers on? Pics anyone?

I'm intrigued. Not decided completely on bumperless yet, but might get them reconditioned while they are off as the front one is a little mangled now so will be driving without.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I know of those, thanks Evan.

Wanted to try and solve it with a less 'GTA-esque' option.

I suppose that would be similar to this?
Hard to see in that pic, although this seems to have something else going on too.

Also just found this...

Dropped the GTJ off to Paul this morning. Should be back within a week.

Can't wait. Might have to get the wheels ordered for a full 'relaunch'.

Bumpers are off and being reconditioned.

Front section is repaired and Paul is repainting some bad delamination on the rear arch.

Just wondering if these things above the number plate are original. Kind of reflectors. Anyone know?

My guess is that is where the top bolt holes for the big Italian numberplate holder would have been. I had something similar on my Super.

Ursus

Ah, good call. They do line up with the other plate holes too.

Prefer period style rims... something like
'69 105 1750 GTV White (SLOW work in progress)
'72 105 2000 GTV Green ( Donor Car)

I know what you mean. Just don't have a spare 1k at the moment.

Was thinking the globe style wheels were semi-Cromodora so therefore period. Also Minilites are pretty period. Maybe just not in black. (thanks Ads!)

I would go the globe style wheels in preference to the 'rat' look with the black rims.

You are right IMO, the globes give that cromodora look without the cost.

I got a set for my Super years ago when the cromies' weren't available (unless you bought a car a set on it!)

Cheers.
