Hoping someone may be able to shed some genius info on me please. I have been told that the above rear lights are the same as a Lamborghini Countach of the late 70's early 80's. It would make sense that Lambos wouldn't make there own for a relatively few cars, does anyone know please?

Probably not a lot of help, but a quick google image search shows them to be remarkably similar, too much to be a coincidence.

Thanks very much for the replies, I guess the next question is if they are available. Any preference for dealers who have a good supply?

Hard to tell with an item like that.  If you're in Victoria try Monza Motors in Bayswater or Milano in Thomastown.  Or put a Wanted to Buy in the B/S/S section.  Hopefully they didn't read this post, because if they realise it's for a Lamborghini then the price for these parts just quadrupled.

Yeah Alfetta sedan prices have just skyrocketed  ;D

Hey guys, this interchangeability between makes such as Alfa and/or Fiat for that matter with exotics ie. Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini is not new.  For instance the tail lights on 2 L Berlinas (105s) were also used on if memory serves me correct the Maserati Indy, while similarly the tail lights on the series 1 (AC) Fiat 124 sport are the same as per the Lamborghini Espada.  You will find all sorts of switches, stalks, instruments, let alone engines, suspension and brakes having being used for multiple Italian cars, ie. Ferrari Dino 246 V6 motor was also used in the Fiat Dino, as well as the Lancia Stratos etc etc.

However, as to finding 'new' Alfetta/Lamborghini rear lights, you might be best off trying overseas on a site such as Ricambi Automobili (a Dutch ebay site). I found a brand new set of tail lights for my AC Fiat from them and thankfully didnt have to pay Lamborghini prices for them, even though they were not cheap.

Don't wreck that car just for the lights! It is far too good.

If you get that desperate, i probably have a set hidden away down the back somewhere.
