Hi all, I am a moderator on ausalfa.com, I have owned a 147 GTA sele from new since 2005, been a lurker for a long time here, and decided to register and participate.

This is my 2nd new alfa, I had a 2001 147 for 4 years prior to buying the GTA.

I love these cars, and have had almost a decade of enjoyment from this marque, not planning on changing the GTA for anything anytime soon .

Had much trouble with your selespeed?

thanks, 41 yrs young myself, 

my second selespeed, and had a pump fail on me around 1 yr ago, 4yrs into ownership, thats the only issue I have had in almost 10 yrs and 2 selespeed cars . . .

if they are looked after and maintained well, I don't believe they are an issue, most of the issues i have seen seem to arise from poor and irregulr maintenance, mostly by the second owner unfortunately.
