Hi guys,

I'm advertising my mates 105 GTV for him as to be honest, if it were left to him, he'd celebrate his fifty'th bday first...he's 30 something :-).

It s a manual 2Liter 1974 105 GTV.  He's recently rebuilt the gearbox, it is now smooth as silk.  He's also replaced a lot of suspension bushes and I did have the pleasure of driving the car, it was very tight, and a joy to drive.

It's as the factory intended, so no modifications, just a sweet little Alfa.

It's been garaged since he has owned it (He's had it as long as I have known him so I guess that's 10+ years).  Not sure about the previous owner, but I am sure he can inform you of the history prior.

It has some rust in the passenger door, I have suggested he just get it repaired pre sale, but he has simply lost interest so is keen to movbe it on to an enthusiast to sort that out.  I believe it also has some rust in the front left gaurd from memory.  These items are simple enough to sort, I begged him ot drop it into an Alfa specialist and sort them so that he had a tidy car to sell, but he'll never get around to it.

engine is strong, everything works, so mechanically I would say the car is very sound, visually, the car is above average, interior is very presentable, so really, you've just got a little panel tidy up at sale (what Alfa does not have this) and you are into a sexy 105.

I no onger live in in Vic, when I did, the only timehe ever drove it was once a year when we went for a run in it.  He loved taking it for a drive but I guess now his mates have kids etc, it now just gathers cobwebs.  I would have bought it long ago as the light bliue exterior with tan interior is very sexy, but I'm six foot six and trust me, I will NEVER fit in a 105...with any level of comfort!

I would like my friend to get a fair price for a nice car.  We feel the car is worth between 5k and 7k.  It is registered in Vic and would come with a road worthy.

Car is located just before Geelong, and if you are interested, you can call me.  I will then pass on his details to serious buyers. ThI would like to see a good mates car go to an Alfisti that will enjoy a nice Alfa, and hopefully bring it to it's true potential.

Cheers
Mike

I'm affraid not, as noted above, if you waited for my friend to get photos (or do anything quickly) you'd be waiting a long time.  People have already organised to see the car, i susggest if you are serious, you do the same.

Perhaps we can convince the new owner to post a couple of pictures.
