Yeah all the guages are working - the car starts very easily (few pumps of the loud pedal and turn the key) so I think it may be the circuit board or the loom.
I am back at the car tomorrow so I will give it a shot and update you all then.
Thanks for the advice everyone - I am now pretty confident that I can get this sorted pretty quickly.

Hey Guys,

Good news - I bought a $15 cordless test lamp and was able to quickly diagnose the problem.

There is power running right up to the left tail lamp which means that there is an issue with the circuit.

I also noticed (since it's raining heaps) that there is a little bit of rust on the sill in the boot so water is getting into the boot and dripping right on top of the left light so all I need to do now is stop the leak and then find a new circuit :)

Once again guys - thanks for the advice.

P.S Does anyone have a circuit for sale?

Hi Guys,

Just an update - Purchased new circuits for $25 each and installed them. The only things that currently work are the parkers and the indicators. I still need to work on the brake lights and the reverse lights but at least we are half way there.

I need to figure out what is going on with the brakes because I really want to drive it around.

Joe, have been reading with interest in your adventures di luminata!

Where did you sorce the curcuit boards?

I've also included a clearer photo of the stop light switch. The GT/GTV brake pedal stalk should have a small flat for the button activation and the switch should be there? The switch simple hangs of a piece of formed sheet metal welded to the dash/firewall area.

Hi there,

I know this thread was discussed some time ago, but did we ever get a response to where Joe purchased the new circuit boards from?

Hi guys, I purchased the stop switch on ebay from Italy (i think it was 30) and the boards were bought new from Milano in thomastown (i think they were 60 for both).
Thanks
