Has anyone ever fitted one of these in their coupe? If so what did you use, another different alfa or what?

I fitted an Alfetta footrest to my Peugeot with no issues. They just need a couple of screws. They're quite large (hopefully not too large for a 105) and a fairly compatible shape. Give one a try...

I made one using a block of wood fastened with a single large bolt and a T-nut embedded in the wood. The floor in this area has two steps in the metal with different slopes, so the wood is difficult to shape. You need a good fit so it doesn't rock. You could copy the shape by pressing clay over cling wrap. I finished it with flooring rubber glued to the top surface and black paint. Not an easy task all up but I love the result.
