A briefing by Karen and Des about the drive will follow.

Meander to Ballan:

Leaving Wyndham Cache we will drive through Werribee to Maddingley, pass by Werribee Gorge and onto Ballan. There are incredible views along the way where we will stop for photos.

Morning Tea - Ballan:

Choose between The Tin Plate Cafe or Zest Cafe in the gorgeous rural town of Ballan. Both cafes have great coffee, cakes and pastries. They are expecting us.

Cruise to Romsey:

Leaving Ballan, we cruise back passed Werribee Gorge (on its other side), through New Gisborne and Mt Macedon, to Hesket, then down the stunning Mount Eliza Rd to Kerrie, finishing off with a circuit drive out to Darraweit Guim and back to Romsey (more fantastic views of this gorgeous part of the country!).

Lunch - Romsey (limited to 40 people):

Lunch is at the historic '1860' (the old Romsey Hotel). We have the private back dining room booked booked for 30 people (and if needed 10 people in an adjoining dining room). The hotel's menu is extensive and excellent. You order and pay at the bar. There is also a terrific outdoor beer garden that we can use if the weather is fine.
