932 Series Register

The 932 Series Register includes all 156, 147, 166 & 916 (GTV & Spider) variants except the GTAs

The Alfa Romeo GTV and the Alfa Romeo Spider (Tipo 916) were sports cars produced from 1993 to 2004. The GTV (Gran Turismo Veloce) is a 2+2 coupé and a follower to the long-discontinued Alfetta GTV coupé. The Spider is a two-seater roadster version of the GTV and effectively the replacement for the then 30-year-old 105-series Giulia Spider. These were replaced by the Brera and 939 Spider in 2006.

The Alfa Romeo 156 (Type 932) is a compact executive car that was launched at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show in 1997. It was available in sedan and sportswagon.

The Australian model sold in very well for a small volume Italian import. A number of specialists exist to service, repair and supply spare parts for the cars. Parts availability is good. In addition, many club members have a good knowledge of 156s. The range went through two facelifts in 2002 and 2003.

The Alfa Romeo 147 (Tipo 937) is a luxury compact car that was launched at the 2000 Turin Motor Show and produced between 2000 to 2010. It was sold in manual on sequential selespeed form.

The Alfa Romeo 166 (Type 936) is an executive car produced between October 1996 and June 2007.

In Australia it was available as a 3.0 V6 Sportronic automatic gearbox.

Generally, the cars revived the minor facelift in 2002 and in 2003 model year, the change was the notable Pininfarina front was launched.
