Ballarat to AVOCA

Join the Goldfields Chapter for a drive from Ballarat to AVOCA for lunch at the Avoce Hotel. (NB: Changed destination!)

The carefully planned Club run to Kyneton on the 13^th of September has received a major hiccup, with the recent closure of our favourite restaurant destination for lunch. BUT by an amazing coincidence, the MG Car Club of Ballarat are conducting a car display of British and European cars on the same date!

So, given the opportunity to view some local cars, have a coffee (Barista they assure us), a chat and support another local car club, and then go for a drive for lunch too, we are in!

Timetable:

· 10am - Meet at the 'MG & Euro Cars Display' (Coffee and chat) at the Bosch Car Service Centre
- 'Mr Brakes' - located at 4 Endeavour Way, Alfredton

· 11am - Drive to Avoca via some interesting backroads

· 12.30pm - Lunch at the Avoca Hotel – 115 High St. Avoca (PAYG off their menu)

· 2.00pm – departure
